Chroma Keying in Sony Vegas
Insert animation with green
(or any solid color) into a track. (This is the overlay track)
Insert the background video that will
show through the green areas into the next lower track. (Background video
must be on the track below the animation)
NOTE: You do not need to set the lower
track as a child track when using chroma keyer plug-in as you would with a
mask
Click the
overlay video (foreground, higher track) to select it.
Drag a chroma keyer plug-in
from the video FX window onto the overlay video. The video event FX window
displays. You may need to adjust the high threshold level to eliminate any
noise.
